DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Myotherapist at Melbourne Soft Tissue Therapy, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing comprehensive physical assessments of clients, including evaluating mobility, posture, and overall health.

  • Diagnosing and treating various musculoskeletal conditions, including injuries, movement patterns, and postural issues.

  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for clients, considering their specific needs and health goals.

  • Providing a full range of myotherapy services, including manual treatments, exercise therapy, and preventive care.

  • Educating clients on proper self-care, lifestyle, and preventive measures to ensure their overall well-being.

  • Collaborating with our team of myotherapists, movement coaches, and other specialists to ensure coordinated and high-quality care for our clients.

  • Staying current with the latest advancements in myotherapy, evidence-based practices, and continuing education opportunities to provide the best care possible.

  • Minimum Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy or Diploma of Remedial Massage

  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance

  • Relevant Health Provider Numbers and Health Funds (or qualify to hold them)

  • Apply First Aid Level 2

Plus, you’ll be working upstairs at CrossFit Soul Rebel, which hosts a fantastic team of coaches who are always striving for the best in their clients. You will get to know this team very closely.
